Bath is a town in England that isn’t very known around the world. Even though it’s the film location of the Bridgertons show on Netflix, it’s not the first one to come up when wondering where to go on holidays in the UK. Although it’s a few towns away from the famous city of London, it is known for its Roman baths and the famous Jane Austen center.
There are many ways for people to see Bath’s breathtaking views, going to the Thermae Bath Spa which might seem like a substitute for the beautiful Roman baths but with its views on the roof pool, you can see the city and its landmarks. Bath’s Abbey tower, the tower with 212 steps to the bell chamber lets you see the city and the countryside from a different angle and take a stroll on the Bath Skyline Walk, only a short distance away from the city center, this six-mile route takes you through lush meadows, secluded valleys and ancient woodlands.
The Fashion Museum and the Royal Crescent are two of the most common places visited in this town and it doesn’t have many visitors due to the lack of knowledge of the UK from other countries, most people forget about small cities in Britain because of places like London or Manchester, that are known the most. But Bath not being filled with tourists every day can help visitors and it’s way more comfortable to visit and see the city with a calmer experience.
This city has stunning views and it is certainly one of the most beautiful places to visit in the United kingdom, seeing things as the Roman baths, the Stonehenge or the blue badge are sights that one has to see at least once in a lifetime if you’re interested in ghosts or any paranormal stories. There are also guided tours to see and learn about the ghosts that haunt the city of Bath.
